history of rosemaling

What is the INRA?

The Illinois Norsk Rosemalers Association exists to promote and encourage the art of rosemaling. To accomplish this we:

sponsor rosemaling classes taught by Vesterheim Gold Medalists
hold exhibits and competitions
hold three general meetings each year
publish three issues of the INRA newsletter, Avisen, each year provide venues for members to sell their rosemaling

Telemark plate Member Benefits: Members receive a subscription to the Association's Newsletter, the Avisen, a discount on class fees, use of all rosemaling books and patterns in the INRA's library, and a discount on the purchase of woodenware.
